Raspberry Days
This last weekend was Raspberry Days up in Bear Lake. It is a family tardition that we all go up there for the weekend. For as long as I can remember we have been going up as a family. We have a lot of fun with all the different activities that we do. The thing that I think the grandkids love the most is being in the parade. This years theme was clebrating Raspberry Days 25th birthday. So we did the 25 fav. things of Raspberry Days. All the family dressed up in different activities clothing. My camera's card gotr full about half way through the parade so I did not get all the pictures I would have like to have gotten. I was dressed up as a fisherman and little A. was a beach bum.
We had so much fun passing out candy and neckless. We even had two people being pulled behind the boat on skateboards. If you do not recognize them they are my sister J boyfriends som and his friend.
When we got back to the house uncle R and cousin R were helping little A play soccer. He was kicking the ball all by himself. He was laughing so hard.
That night we celebrated my dad's birthday. We always celebrate it up there because the whole family is there. The next day we went to the craft fair because the weather was cold. My dad tried on the new type of wigs. It is crazy hair coming out of a visor. My DH bought Root Beer in this cool bottle but at the same time is looked like a real beer bottle so I made him let me take a pictue as you can see he is training his son at a young age. The kids get to come to the fair and pick one thing and play in the jump house.
On saturday we went to the beach because the weather was better. The kids love the water. We have tubs that we pull behind the boat. I was suprized but Little A. wanted nothing to do with the sand so he sat on a blanket or on someones lap. He also enjoyed sitting in his float tub while playing with his toys. The day before we went to the pool and he swam but I forgot my camera. I love the beach I could lay in the sun all day. The kids always build sand villages it is no longer just a castel.
On saturday morning some of the family ran in the 5K. Last year cousin R ran the race and it was the first race that he had ever ran and he was sick and tired all day this year he wore the same shoes and now has retired them. This year the race did not effect him.The Clock
My Dh and I decided that we were going to make a clock for my dad for his birthday that he could put up at this ranch house. We wanted it to look good with the decor that he alread had in the house. We made the back circle out of old barn wood (or atleast we made the wood look that way by painting and staining it). The middle section is made of the same wood that he used in the rest of the house stained to match. We then burnt his brand in the middle. I took a many nights to make it but it was worth it to see how excited he thought it was. To follow the process start in the top left hand corner and follow clock wise around then into the middle. Little A. got to play outside while we were making it and he loved it he thought that he was helping!

Grandpa E.D. Birthday
Today is my Dad's birthday. Little A. and I went over to the shop to wish him a happy birthday. We were a little late to catch the cutting of the cake and singing of the birthday song so Little A. and I sang to him when we got there. Uncle L and R decided that Little A. needed a little of the Yellow Frosting. I decided that I did not want to fight the fight anymore so I let them give it to him. His shirt was stained with yellow frosting. He enjoyed it way to much. I sure hope that he will still eat his baby food. At the same time he still had a great time eating it. He decided that it would be better if he took it off the spoon and used his hands. We are going to celebrate my dad's birthday over the weekend while we are all up at Bear Lake!

Ryan's Park
Today we went to the park with our cousins. We had a great time. There is a way fun park that was build in honor of a little boy that drowned in Lake Powel. The girls were all so cute playing that I had to take pictures of them.
Little A. had his first ever time on a swing. He was having a great time. He loved it for the minute that he went in the swing. Then when the swing started to move he loved it even more. We are going to go the park more often no so he can swing. Yet no matter how much fun he is having he has to still have a finger in his mouth. He did not what to go home when I took him out of the swing he started to cry.
The girls were showing all of their talents off. The first pic. is cousin S. being a knight. Cousin T was taking on the rock climbing wall why cousin R. made sure she did not fall. Jousin J. was balancing on the log beam. Cousin J and R. were ready to take fight in the airplane why cousin T and S were chilling and enjoying the shade in the tunnel. We had a great time at the park!Tuesday, August 5, 2008
Willow Park Zoo
On Saturday we took little A. to the zoo. We joke that it is the bird zoo. Little A. was happy the whole time even though I really do not know if he even realized that he was at a zoo. He just loves to be outside. We went over to the fishing pond and my hubby was saying he could not wait until little A. was old enough to go. You have to have a child under 12 with you to fish there.
