Internet

We just got high speed internet at our house. I have been going to my mom's house or my dad's shop to post and now I can do it from my home!!!

Uncle Zach is Home!

Today my husband's little brother came home from this LDS mission. He has been serving 2 year in Argentina. We all rode down in a big 15 man van that my brother-in-law browed from his brother. It was fun to all get to be together to talk to him. Since he has been gone there has been two grandbabies born, and all the rest of the grandchildren have grown a ton. It is so fun to have him home. It seems like he has never been gone, even though we know that he does not feel that way. Little A., just sat and smilled at him the whole ride home.

Hang on for dear life!

Little A. loves his strowler, he also loves to put everything in his mouth. So when ever he gets in the strowler he holds on with his hand and with his mouth. His dad says that he looks litke one of those little monsters that you hook onto your visor.

24th of July

We always walk over to the parade on the 24th of July. Logan does it every year. Little A. loved it. His dad or I held him and he was just kicking his legs the whole time because he was so excieted. One of the entries had a mister and first I thought he would cry becuase it was cold and it ws getting him wet, he did not cry but he had this look of concern on his face and looked at me like mom how are you letting them do this to me. My sister K came with us and her kids got a lot of candy. My husband's sister M met us there. It was intereating to see how protective mt sister's kids were of little A. when my sister-in-law and her little girl were around him. My Brother R had to drive one of the tow truck in the parade. He was pulling the cache comunity band. He is so proud of what he does. His cute little girl was in the truck with him but we were on the wrong side to get a picture of her. That is all we did that was fun the rest of the day we worked on my dad's b-day gift. My cousin wrote on her blog about how she hart Utah and I just want to second that. I have always lived in the valley and I sure hope that I will never have to leave it. There are great people here.

Fun Park

Last week my mom and I took my sister's girls to the Fun Park. When I was a teen or a pre-teen I use to go there all the time to rollerblade and have fun. Now my sister's girls ask to go all the time. Little A. had his first experience there awake. We had a fun time and I even played some games like I was a kid again. When we were done playing we enjoyed some high quality chips and cheese.

Baby Food

Yesterday was Little A. 5 month old birthday. Because of the we decided to give him his first taste of baby food beside cereal. He is now eating cereal every night like a champ. So he was able to try some squash. He liked it once he got use to the texture. Our batteries were low in the camera so I was only able to get one picture after I took this one he started to smile.

Cousin R's Birthday Party

Sunday we celebrated cousin R's Birthday. I can not believe that he is 12 years old. He is going to be a 7th grader next year and I still think that he should be a little kid. He loves games so this year that is what he got for his gifts. Oh yea and an I-pod. I made him stack his girfts together for a picture. He still will do things when I ask him to.
Here are some random pictures from the party. My mom always asks for a little bit of everything so that is what she got. The rest of us are just enjoying our normal amount of cake and ice cream. My brother R does not get that you are just supose to smile when someone is taking a picture that is why he is pulling that weird face. Grandpa decided that he should put napkin on Little A. head and he did not seem to care so we left it there for a while.
We had a great time celebrating cousin R's birthday. It is always fun when the whole group gets together!

Memory Tag!

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. HAVE FUN!

Shopping

Little A. loves to go to the store and see all the lights and colors. Just a few days ago I decided it was time to get him out of the carseat and let him sit in the cart like a big boy. Now he loves stores even more. On Thursday night crazy aunt Kim and I drove down to Layton to go shopping because Old NAvey had an extra 50% off the lowest mark price. We found a lot a really cute things for the kids next summer. We also went to the Costco we love that store. The best part of the triphad to be these chocolate cake doughnuts that we bought. They were so good!!! I was enjoying every last bit of mine when I looked at the label never do that when you are eating something that good that you know will be fatening. :( But don't you worry I still ate the whole thing.

Last Thursday

On Thursday we get to play with and babysit my sisters girls we have a lot of fun with them. When we were out at their house we put Little A. in tay's chair. He looked so cute we had to take a picture of it to put on the blog. He is getting so big and becoming a big boy that can do some many new things. It makes every day a new adventure. The other pic was taken when the girls were waiting for thier mom to come and pick them up to go swimming. Tay loves to hold Little A. so I let her. When they were sitting there she said, "This would be a way cute picture for you blog Anut Jill."

Cookies

Today we went over to Grandma's house to say "HI" and we ended up spending the afternoon there and playing with the cousins and making cookies. We love going to grandma's house no matter what we have fun. Today Cousin T and J were there. They were great help with making the cookies and eating them too. Little A. was a good baby but was not a whole lot of help. Maybe when he gets a little older he can help. We had to make to batches because Grandpa will only eat the cookies if they are semi-sweet chips and the rest of us like milk chocolate. SO we made both kinds. Thanks Grandma for letting us make cookies with you!

Bath Time

Last night when we were giving little A. a bath he looked so cute when we put him in the towel. I thought that I would share the picutres with you. Little A. loves the bath, he loves water all together. I think that he is going to be one of those babies that will play in the tub for hours if I would let him.

Just Chilling

Little A. loves to lay with his head up side down with all the blood running to his head. I do not understand why he likes this but he does.

Demo Derby

Little A. went to his first every Demo Derby. You may want to call us white trash but that is okay. It is a family fav. to go to these. If you do not know what one is, here is a little description. People fix cars up and get the all ready to go into a arena and bash into each other. Back in their younger days my brother and brother in law use to drive cars in them. The winner is the last car running at the end of the round. They are really fun and we love going so we had to take Little A. I think that he liked it but I sure hope that he nevers want to drive in one. This is a picture of him with Aunt J. before the derby started.
Durning the derby there is a dance contest the bottom right picture is Jeff's son. He went out and competed in the contest. The bottom left picture is my Cousins's son Justin. He thought he was important because he was an offical at the derby. The top picture during one of the round there are some cars bashing into each other.

I hate WEEDS

Last week we recieved a letter saying that if we did not cut down our weeds on our lot that Nibley city would fine us $750. We had to cut the down to be less than 20 inches and haul away all the cut down weeds. My DH and I weed wacked for over 2 hours on Monday and my awesome come out last night and helped us finish the job so we will not get fined the money.

Fireworks

While Little A. went to his first fireworks show. They were not great but that can you say we were at Bear Lake. Litle A. just liked staying up late and playing with his dad. Grandma Pickett even came up for the day. Thanks Aunt Julie for bringing her.

Mimi-Golf

While we were up at the Lake we took that kids mimi-golfing. It was fun but interesting to see thier little personalities come out in them. Andrew slept though the whole game so he has yet to experence his first mim-golf game awake. Over the weekend some of the adults went golfing too. We were tolf the Jer celebrated with a 360 toe toucher.

Weekend at Bear Lake

For the fourth of July we went up to Bear Lake as a family. We love the lake and we go up every year over the fourth. The second night that we were there we went back to the lake town house for the evening and cousin H and H played in the mud they were covered from head to toe. We had to wash they down with the hose. The next day we they woke up they were covered in bug bites. There must have been a lot of bugs in the mud, but that is ok they had a lot of fun. We spent most of the days at the beach. Aunt J took a lot of pic. that I need to get so I can post them. I had to take a picute of the three little ones as we call them. They were just hanging out in thier chairs eating chez-its. We had so much fun!

Little A. first bomb fire!

Some of my DH's friends invited us to a camp fire up logan canyon. We had alot of fun and Little A. was blowen away by the fire, he just sat and stared at it for a long time. It was great to see some of our friends that we do not get to see very often.

Fishing at the ranch

When we went fishing we all caught at least one fish. Some were bigger than others but we all had fun.

Weekend at the Ranch

Two weekends ago we went up to my mom and dad's ranch. I am slow at getting this posted so if you read Katie's blog you already know all about it. We had a really great time. We fished, played card games, watched movies and relaxed. The little kids are reallystarting to like each other. Little A. learned how to use his voice alot better this weekend he his making sounds all the time now

The Dogs

When we first got married I was not a big fan of the dog that my DH had. While now we have 2 and they are both growing on me. Gunner is the older dog that I think has ADHD and Tuck is the younger one that is only a year old now. Little A. is not sure about them yet, but I know when he gets bigger he will love them just like his daddy does. Gunner is the one drinking the water and Tuck is already off for another adventure.

First time at the POOL

Last week Aunt J. asked us to come swimming with her and her girls. It was little A. first time to the pool so we were all excited to see how he would like it. He ended up loving it. He started in the kiddie pool and we ended up taking him into the big pool. He kicked his legs the whole time and would splash in the water with his hands. He swam so had that he feel asleep in Aunt J. armes in the water. Thanks for inviting us to come swimming.

Sitting Up

Little A. is learning how to sit up all by himself. He doing really well and olny fall sometimes. He does better if he has something in front of him to play with like blocks.

Hungry

So I guess I am not feeding Little A. enough because he is always eating his toys, or he is just acting right on for his age by putting everything in his mouth.
