Year of Andrew!

Well another year has come and gone and Little A just keeps getting bigger and full of life. He is such a joy to have around and bring our family so much joy. I look back now and it is crazy to see how much he has grown and changed.
12 months- he was just learning to walk and love any toy that he could pull him self up to and stand a play with.
13 months- he started to move around better and love to daddy and mommy.
14 months- he started to get into everything that was at his level and was too young to understand that it was not okay.
15 months- he started his journey of living on a construction site and playing in the dirt. He spent a lot of time dragging a stick hooked to twin around the sidewalk of the new house.
16 months- he starting to love to go over to the shop and she grandpa and the uncles and don't forget the doughnuts. He started to love everything with wheels.
17 months- he started to have more an attitude and wanting mommy all the time.
18 months- he started nursery and church become enjoyable again and was the center of attention everywhere he went.
19 months- he got his first hair cut and love to run instead of walk.
20 months- the house was still being build and he was a fisherman just like his daddy for Halloween.
21 months- the house finished and he got his big boy room, and a new house which brought more confidence. He gave up the binki during the day and only get it at night.
22 months- he rules and love playing with his friends and has a great imagination. He also love to cook with mommy.
23 months- he now thinks that he is as old as his 11 year old boy cousins and can do anything they can.

90% Sure

So last week we went to the doctor for our big ultra-sound wanting to leave knowing if we would have a little girl or a little boy this June. Lets just say our little one did not want to help us out at all in this process. Legs crossed with a foot in the way. So we are lucky that there are educated people out there. Our ultra-sound tech said she is 90% sure it is a GIRL but, to not go out and buy pink paint yet. She said that if it was a boy we should have been able to still see something else down in that area. My ultra-sound picture are not great at all so I was every disappointed with that. Our little one even had her hands in front of her face so we could not even get a good picture of the face. They will do another ultra-sound April 7th to try again.

Adam's Birday Day the BIG 28!

Yesterday was Adam's Birthday. We are going to celebrate with family next week so we had a little party with just the three of us. This is the first birthday that we have had in our new house and it was fun having a space to hang a banner and set everything up. I baked a small cake and Little A was a great help with decorating it he added all the sprinkles and I think the whole bottle would have been on the cake if I did not take it away. He was so proud that he helped with dad's cake. He just keep walking around waiting for daddy to come home saying "Happy birthday dad" and then when he did get home he would not say it, funny kid. We went to dinner at the Copper Mill which is always yummy and then came home for cake and ice cream. Little A helped his daddy blow out the candles.
It was then time for the present. Adam has wanted a Wii ever since they came out. I have not thought we needed one so I would not let him get one or buy him one or any holiday. Well a few months ago he finally decided that he did not need a Wii anymore and he could wait until Little A was older to get something. That being said I decided that it was time for him to get his Wii. So my parents and I bought him one for his birthday and I think the expressions on his face tell more than I could in writing. He told me while he was setting it up that it was the first gaming system he had ever owned he never had one as a child. Let's just say that it is already been played a lot and we might have to set some restrictions.
What is a post with out some funny pictures of Little A. The first one is his new way to eat treats and crackers no hands he thinks that it is so funny. The next one is his new fav. place to sit in the house. I think he looks so old just lounging there. The bottom one Adam took, I had to go to church early one Sunday and I guess Little A wanted his snow hat and gloves, and cowboy boots on to ride his horse what a silly boy.

Poll

Take a minute and vote in out Poll to tell us if you think we are going to have a baby girl or boy. We will be finding out on the 10 and we are letting our families know on V-day so the poll is open until then. I was going to add a third choose just to see if anyone agrees with Little A and thinks I am going to have a baby Dino.

New homes first big party!

When we finished our house many of my Aunts and cousins wanted to know when they were going to be able to come and see it. I love my new house so I was excited to get to show it off. My cousin Brent is getting married so I offered to host the Bridal Shower for his future wife Katie, this way I only had to clean my house one and everyone could come and see it. It ended up going every smoothly I was not sure how to set things up but now I am ready for my next party I have figured the best way to set up the food and the chairs so bring on the fun. I stole some of the picture from my sister Jodi's Blog. I love the one of my Grandma and her only living sibling. It was fun to have the to of them together.
Little A has really taken to becoming quit the cook. He loves to spread his own peanut better and to help with dinner every night. Last night I was making cupcakes for some friends and of course there Little A was helping. I tried not to let him taste the batter but as soon as he did it was all over. I gave in and even let him lick one of the beaters. He was a little confused because I would usually not let him do that. After they were baked we let him have one and I frosted it but that was not enough he need to put sprinkles (spinkies as he calls them) on top before he would eat it. I thank my sister Kim for that because she let the grandkids decorate sugar cookies at my mom's a while back and he fell in love with them that day.

Different Personalities

Little A has been cracking me up the last few mornings when it is time to leave to go to work. Yesterday we had to stop by my dad's shop before work and when I told him that he got all excited and started saying papa boots, over and over until we saw him. As you can see they are cowboy boot and he would not let me pull his pants out from inside them and I could not talk him into wearing anything else on his feet. This works though because the little girls at the babysitters house call him cowboy, I think they think that is his name. Today we found his hat. His has not been a big hat fan in the past so I did not think it would last but he would not take it off until nap time. I thought it was so funny because I told him that uncle Ryan wears his hat backwards and that daddy wears it frontwards. So it would switch it around and they call himself either Ry or daddy. We have a bag of toys that we have for the car only they were in the house due to switching of cars and Little A wanted to wear it like a backpack and do it all by him self. Here his is waiting for me to open the door to leave to go to work. I love the different faces he has in each of the pictures.
Some other things that I want to write so I do not forget them. If you ask Little A what is in mommies belly he will tell you a Baby Rharr, which would be a baby dinosaur.
The other night we were having pizza for dinner and it was Little A turn to say the prayer. We are still at the stage were I say one word and then he says it. While when we were blessing the food when I said food, he gave me a look like mom I am not the stupid and said Pizzie (Pizza) instead, why would we want to bless anything else on the table.

New Years Trip to the Ranch!

The last few years we have headed up to my parent's ranch for New Year's Eve. The day we were going to head up it snowed so my hubby got to use his new toy. My parents gave us a snow blower for Christmas and my hubby thinks that it is awesome.
When we got up on New Year's Eve morning my sisters little girls wanted to do Little A hair, and this is the end result. When my sister asked me what I thought about Little A hair all I sad was when I see little boy with that hair due at his age I think to myself that their parents get what they get when they turn out as a bully. Grandpa wanted to do a comparison of their hair and I think that Little A won for the for the most hair.
That day was spent outside. We bundled up the kids and headed out. The older boys went out first to have an air soft competition and when it was done we headed out with the little kids to go sledding. They all had so much fun. Little A was more interested in riding on the snowmobile to go and pick up the kids and adults sledding. Yes no having to walk up the hill once you have gone down.

My sister's son was trying to roll down the hill like you do with a green grassy hill but it was a little too cold on his face. My dad asked me to take a picture of the view of the ranch from where we were sledding.
In the afternoon the little girls wanted to watch and movie and Little A took a nap. So the older boys headed up to the pond to ice fish. They were catching fish left and right. They had so much fun they were up there for 3 hours. On the right is the process for our dinner that night. catching the fish, hauling it home, and gutting and cooking the fish.
That night we headed into Cokeville WY. They were also celebrating their 100 year of township. My dad always put on a private firework show for us. This year we decided to go into the town and see their too. Little A did not like them at first but soon warmed up to them. I did not get any pictures of my dad's show but it was awesome like always.
The next day we just took it easy playing games, shopping in Montpelier, Id while the women and Little A shopped the others went sledding again and then that afternoon the big boys went out and shoot some guns. The picture of Little A with Grandma is them watching the boys shooting guns. I love the picture below of Little A and Cousin Hunter. Little A is eating fish crackers and watching Hunter play his game. Little A loves his older cousins.
Just like every year we had a great time. Thanks mom and dad!
