Last weekend for Labor Day we went to the Johnson Family Cabin. It is about 3 hours away in Idaho. We always have a great time when we get there. While we were there the guys laid rock and put in a new fan for the old wood burning stove. They had to cut a hole in the roof. We were lucky that it did not rain that day since it rained ever other day. The top photo is my father-in-law on the roof of the cabin and the other picture is of my hubby and my brother-in-law laying hearth stone.
They are still finishing the cabin so some of the rooms do not have carpet so Little A did not get to play on the floor that much the close up picture is Little A. playing on a blanket. Without having carpet the floors are dirty so Little A. stayed in his PJ's so his clothes would stay clean. Little A. cousin and his dad decided to put him in the dolls strowler. All was fun until he broke the it and fell to the floor. He was not hurt just scared.
One evening we hiked down to the lake to fish. My husband is a big fisherman so I was feeling really cool when I caught 5 fish and my husband did not catch one at all. Little A. loved riding in his hiking pack. It was a good time but I am happy to be home. Little A did not sleep very well the whole time we were there.
On monday the girls and the kids headed into Jackson Hole Wy. It is about 45 minutes away. I do not take any picture becuase the camera was back at the cabin. We had fun and I bought Little A. the cutest hoodie.
