Summer Clothing!

Today I put all of Little A summer clothing in his closet (or should I say our closet we have to share one). I decided that it is warm enough so I dresses him in some of them today. I really do not think that there is a color out there that he does not looks good in. Thanks mom for the cute shirt. On a side note I love to bargin shop for Little A where he is still young and he does not care what he wears. This whole outfit including the shoes was under $8.

It is amazing!

When Little A was about 6 weeks old I thought that he was running a high fever so I ran to the closest store and bought their only digital thermometer. I have cursed that thing every time I have used it since then. It is slow and about half the time it get me an "E" meaning an error instead of Little A temperature. So when we were in Wal-Mart a few nights ago my hubby talked me into getting a new thermometer, because of the frustration the other one has caused us. So we bought on of the new ones that you slide across their forehead and they are amazing. Little A is sick right now and I have fell in love with my new toy. I can take Little A temperature while he is doing anything I do not have to hold he down. I would have to say that it is one of the best baby investments I have made.

Happy Easter!

It was so fun and enjoyable this year. I love how excited Little A get even though he is not sure why everyone including himself is so excited. The fun started on Saturday with the Johnson family. We headed over to my in-laws house and we started with dying Easter eggs. Little A enjoyed coloring them and sticking sticker on the eggs. He was amazed with the dying processes. Little A and I made an egg for him daddy and Little A helped a little too much and tossed it to his dad and cracked it. The joy of eggs and small children.
After dying eggs, we headed outside to find the eggs in the yard. Little A really got into this. Some of the older cousins had to climb (got to) to get some of the eggs. Little A would see an egg and run to it and pick it up and give it to his dad. He was excited to see all his eggs and toys that he found.
After that we headed up to Old Main hill to roll Easter eggs. I remember this from my childhood and I remember it being fun until one of my uncles would start an egg fight, which there were always a few raw ones in the group. We had a great time but Little A was confused about why we wanted to toss our eggs and not get them back. The little kids were so tired by the time we left. The adults and kids would toss/throw the eggs down but only the kids ran down to get them. I think they ran up and down the hill at least 10 times. Grandma was a good sport and would go down and help them some times.
On Sunday we headed off to church. Little A was not going to let me take a good picture of him in his Easter outfit. I love Easter Sunday because our ward always does a program. Getting to listen to music and talks about of Savior is so nice. I love that Easter is on a Sunday because it is a good reminder of the reason we celebrate this day. What a blessing our Savior is in all of our lives.
The Easter bunny came to our house while Little A was taking his nap. We helped him find his basket and he was so excited to explore all the things the bunny had brought him. I was amazed how long he played with and looked at his basket. Once he got one egg open and figured their was candy in it he tried to open the rest. He had so many jelly beans in his mouth.
Later that day we took him outside to find the eggs that the Easter bunny had left him. Our backyard is small but just the right size for a little one to find eggs in.
This year my mother took all the cousins to the store and bought them a new pair for shoes for Easter. It was so fun to see all the cousins personalities come out in the shoes that they picked. Little A was so excited to see all his cousins in the store. I was so mad when I went to go and get my camera out and it was not there. Thanks everyone for a great Easter.

Spring Break In SLC

The last two days my mother, sisters, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and all our kids headed down to SLC for spring break. On Thursday morning Little A was so excited that when he woke up he was yelling with excitement. The bottom picture of the group below is all the cute cousins walking together. It was raining so on Thursday with headed down to the child's museum. There were a lot of different things for the children to do. Little A played with all different toys and blocks.
The little kids all got dressed up and some what put on a show for us. One of my favorites was when we got to be on TV. Little A loved to tell the weather because he is always pointing his finger.
After that we fulfilled on of my mother's dreams or major wants in her life. We headed to the Planetarium. We watch a cool video on under water animals and we walked on the moon and mars. The grandkids got their picture taken with grandma in front of the solar system. I thought that it was way cool. Little A did not nap at all this day so by this time he was a little grumpy.
On Friday we headed to Thanksgiving Point. We saw the Dinos and all the farm animals. We had a great time seeing all the Dino. All the kids were shocked how big the Dinos were. I did not take a lot of picture because I was able to get Little A to take a nap. It was well needed and it made it so he was a lot happier for the rest of the day.
After we went to lunch we headed to the Farm. Little A loved the animals. Right now the only animal sound he know is what the dog says "Bark". So all afternoon he was barking at the animals. We the help of the cousins we were able to get him to Quack at the ducks. I love how much he is learning right now. My sister decided that she would try to get a kiss for one of the goats. He ended up turning her down.
We locked the kids in the jail and Little A love it. He is at the age that he copies everything so the cousins we shaking the bars yelling "let us out" so he grabbed on and starting yelling at the top of his lungs he was loving all the cousin time. Thanks everyone for the great weekend.

Catching Up On Old Times

I have had some much fun the last two nights. On Wednesday I was able to go to my friends Sara's house and see her and her new baby. I have not seen her for years and it was so great to catch up on what was going on. Last night I was able to go to Layton and meet up with my group of friends from high school. We has such a great time. I think there were times that the other people in there did not like us because we were loud but we were okay with that. It is sad to think that we all live with in 2 hours of each other and we only see each other once a year. It is crazy how much changes in a year between us there are 3 new babies and new house bought and built and exciting new adventures.
It was so fun to see all of you and we need to get together more often. Wendy Good luck with your internship you will do awesome.

Head Knocking

Last night Little A was being so funny. My huddy would stack the blocks and he would them come in and knock them down with his head. I did not get a great video because I did not think about it until after about 3 minutes of building and knocking down. Here is a little bit of what he was doing:
