10am = fav time of day!

Every day at 10 am my father's shop has doughnut break. For a while I was taking Little A down to get one but the other day I was told that I do not let him enjoy his doughnut like a little kid should get to because I do not give him the whole thing at once. So now at 10 am Little A gets picked up by his 2 uncles and heads to the gas stations to get drinks and then to the shop for his doughnut. I did not want to uncles to know that I was taking the picture so I took it though my window that is why they are not great. I forgot to take a picture so I will some other day to show you how messy he is when he comes home from the break.
Thanks Uncles for making Little A's day!

Ward Camp Out!

This weekend I was in charge of our ward camp out. I love ward activities and we have great friends in our ward. While about 45 minutes before the dinner was going to start my sister called and said that the radio just announced that there was a bad storm coming and that all should take come and get away from windows. I was not giving up on the weather so we stuck it out and it stopped raining and hailing about 15 minutes before we started. The down fall was the storm scared away about 1/2 of our crowd. Here are some pictures of the storm.
Here are pictures of the brave people that still come and did not let the storm scare them away. We ever have 4 family brave the night out and camp. Luckily for them it did not rain during the night.

Back Yard Swimming!

Sorry I down loaded the wrong pictures so that is why the pictures are at the top and the writing is all at the bottom. I was to lazy to retype it all.

Yesterday I went to the store and got Little A a swimming pool. He loves water so much. Yesterday we were not able to swim because the water was so cold so instead he throw the balls in the pool and would reach in to get them. He also would drink the water out of the balls. Today we went out and the water was warn so he would get into it. I forgot to take out my camera and I knew that he would not go inside with me to get it. He had so much fun, slpashing, kicking, throwing balls, and putting his face in the water.

I also want to send a be-lated Happy Father's day to all the dads in my life. I was blessed to grow up in a house hold with a great father who now shows that love to Little A too. Also my hubby has a great dad too. I am also married to an amazing man who I hope Little A will one day become like.

Week Review

I has been a crazy week. There has been a lot going on so with in my family we have done a lot of kid shuffling. So here is a quick review of what happened.
Little A loves this little hammer. He hits everything with it (you would think we were building a house or something). Also at one of his baby showers we were given this big stuffed dog. Little A and all the cousins love it they always want to wrestle with it.
On Monday I was in charge of my sisters kids. We all headed to tennis lessons. The kids really were doing well and Little A loved being outside and with his cousins. After lessons we all headed back to my house. If you know my house it is not big and there were 6 kids there so we played outside. The oldest cousins were so cute they made a mini golf course in my yard. Tuesday was spent running kids places and getting ready to leave for my 3 day conference.
Today we put the trusses on the house. My hubby headed over there nice an early and got started. It was so nice to have the help that we had. While driving over there I stopped a took the bottom picture of the crane up in the air the other one is at the end of our block. I loved Little A hair today we put gel in it and spiked it up. You can not really tell that well in the picture.
Just some random pictures on the trusses going up. It is amazing how the crane swings them around like no big deal.
This evening we drove around to look a rock and house colors. Little A was being so cute with his sippy. He did not want it out of the container that stores it. I thought it was so funny and cute. He is already becoming a true man.Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I was in classes for my job. Thanks to my mom, sisters and hubby for all their help with Little A while I was gone in Provo. It was so fun to see him and his big smile when I got home.

If you read my sister Kims blog you may have seen this picture alread. Today I had meeting in Layton for school all day so Little A sleep at my sister last night and played with her kids today. I love this picture of him with one of my sister little girls. He went into her room to rest with her when she was waking up this morning.

House up-date June 8th

Sorry this in going to be another long post with a lot of pictures. This is more for my record but I am sure a few of you like seeing how the house is coming. My hubby, and I worked all Saturday morning and so we had to make a play pen for Little A so we make a wall all around the laundry room he loved it. During that time we put up the walls for the 2 bathrooms and the closet in our bedroom. In the bottom picture, from left to right is the kids bathroom, our bathroom, then our closet.
I then had to take little A home for his nap time. While I was gone my hubby framed the walls between the 3 bedrooms. The front bedroom it Little A then a spare room and in the back in the master bedroom. That is the order the pictures are in from left to right. It is not that easy to see. The bottom 2 pictures are of different angles of the kitchen/living room. There are a few more walls in the house that need to be framed but we have to wait for the trusses to be put up for we know were the vaulted ceiling comes.
When we got out there to work on the house last night there was hail all over the place. There was a awesome rainbow too but the pictures are not great.
Little A loves to dance on the ply wood as if it is a stage. He loves being out at the house helping. His job is to take nails to his dad when he runs out. We have decided that we should just turn our basement into a swimming pool because it is always full of water from all the different storms.
Saturday afternoon and last night we put up the walls in the garage. They are 14 feet and then sat up onto 2 1/2 feet of concrete foundation. It is a task to get the walls up. I really thought that we were going to drop some of them when we were putting them up on Saturday.
So there is a little bit of framing that will have to be finished next week. So on the 20th we are putting the trusses up so anyone that would like to come and help that Saturday we would love it. I will feed you if you come and help!
