Recap: Day One- Driving to St. George and Swimming, Day Two- Zion National Park.
Day 3 was a little low key, the men were leaving that afternoon so we did things around town.
All the kids waiting to head out for the day with Grandpa and Jeff.
In the morning we all went our separate ways. Kim’s family and my Parents headed across the boarder so they could mark Nevada off their list of states to visit! Jodi’s family went house looking! I was able to get to spend time with one of my best friends from growing up Tara. She lives in St. George and has 2 cute girls I am so sad that I did not take any pictures but we sat at talk catching up on life while the kids played at her house!
After we all meet up to go the to St. George Temple and the visitor center there. This Temple is one of the 1st to be completed in Utah and it is gorgeous.
Of course Andrew saw the long set of stairs and had to run up to the top!
In the visitor center they had a lot of neat things that the kids could look at and interact with. One of the displays were Book of Mormons in every langue they were translated in. Andrew is holding the one that is is Cebuano the language that Adam spoke on his mission. Below Maelee is holding one too but I could not et her to turn it around but it is a dialect that is spoken in Ghana where my brother Ryan served his mission. While we were there visiting him we met the lady that was translating it for the church.
We ended the day with the men at lunch at the Painted Pony. The kids all thought this Pony was cool. Thanks to Kim I have this picture I was missing taking care of Maelee! After Lunch the men headed home and the Women and Children went back to the condo to swim and relax. Both of my kids took long naps that they needed!
Day 4: We started of the Morning by heading out and going Shoe Shopping. Every year for Easter my mom buys the Grandkids a pair of shoes. This year Andrew got this first pair of Crocks they are Bright Green and Maelee choose a pink pair of sandals. After shopping we went to lunch at Red Robin. My kids thought it was so cool that there was a TV in the floor!
After lunch we headed out to a place where there were all different inflatables for the kids to play on. True to personality Maelee just played on the little kids ones and had a blast but Andrew was racing the big kids to the top of everyone and was not afraid of anything.
Maelee loved jumping in and sliding down the little slide of the Giant Strawberry bounce house!
Maelee decided to get a little daring for a moment that little dot at the top of the slide is her next to Samantha!
It was so hot in there that the kids would have to take breaks and sit in front of the fan! Kinnick was mad that he did not get to play with all the other kids.
After the Bounce House we went back and enjoyed the swimming pool at our resort. Right out our back door was this hillside the kids loved spending their free time looking for lizards on the hill!
The next morning we got up and cleaned up and loaded the cars and headed home. The statement is true “ALL GOOD THINGS HAVE TO COME TO AN END”
