Running Club

This spring I asked Andrew if he wanted to play Soccer or Baseball he told me NO he just wanted to get ready to run a 5K at Raspberry Days.  So I was looking around on the internet of what was out there and I found the Logan city had a running club for kids and I signed him up and he loved it.  The last night he had a meet that everyone could come and watch him.  He was so proud and excited for the events that he was going to be a part of!

For the meet he wore his Logan Flyer shirt and his favorite orange running shorts.  Oh course he had the biggest cheering section.  Every kids probably had about 4 people there and Andrew had 20 people there watching him and cheering him on!

Cheering Groups: Karli and Zach they brought Andrew a 1 dollar coin with the Picture of Andrew Johnson the President on it.  Madi came with her three kids Grace, Jonah, and Faith.

My Family that came was Grandma Tamra, Grandpa Elden, Jodi, Jeff, and Jordan, Kim, Hunter, Reagan, and Samantha, and Maelee.

Andrew running the 50 m.  He was one of the youngest in his group it was 5 to 8 year olds.

It started to rain so some of the kids took cover under this stand: Jonah, Maelee, Faith, and Andrew.

I took a video of this run and could not get it to upload.  He was so cute he was running so fast until he got to Grandpa Elden which he basically stopped and waived and made sure we were watching.

Even with it being so cold we could not talk him into anything else so we went and got snow cones!
