Straight from Kim’s Blog again!
One of our favorite summer traditions is Raspberry Days at Bear Lake. We have been going for as long as I can remember. It is a wonderful time where my family all joins together for a parade, rodeo, craft-fair, race, lots of swimming, boating, and tons of beach time!!! We have a blast!!!
When the kids finished their swim lessons on Thursday we all met at McDonalds for lunch before we headed up to Bear Lake. Jodi has been giving Kinnick fries for way too long...and this time she even dolled him up in the Ronald McDonald Bib!!!
The kids were so excited when we got to the Condo because my dad has asked for a Kayak for his Birthday and he had it sitting ready in the condo. The boys took a few minutes to play on it before it hit the water.
This year the kids made their own shirts for the parade. They tye died them with spray. They had a blast and they looked so cute too. The theme was a splash of summer...so the shirts fit the theme perfectly. We had everyone at the parade but Ryan and his kids...we so missed them!!!
Cute cousins...Andrew, Hayden, Mitch, Samantha, Ryker, Taylor, Kinnick, Hunter, Reagan, Maelee, Jordan, and Reagan

After the parade and dinner the kids and grandpa couldn't wait to put the kayak in the water. They had a fabulous time on it. They rode it all weekend.

Friday morning we went to the craft-fair first thing. My mom spoils the kids and lets them choose something from the fair. This year Samantha, Jordan, and MaeLee all chose babies in a bag. A sweet old lady had crocheted a beautiful little bag for the sweetest little doll.
After the craft fair we spent the day on Jeff and Jodi's boat and playing in the water until it was Rodeo time!!!
Samantha, Jordan, and Reagan watching the rodeo action
Samantha, Mitch, Reagan, and Hayden all participated in the 12 and under cow chase. None of them caught the tail but they had fun.
Hunter, Ryker, and Hayden...love these GOOD boys!!
The nest morning was the 5K The crew who ran..Shea, Kim, Samantha, Reagan, Hunter, Jeff, Jodi, and Adam. Lance and his family had to leave for a Baptism so they had to miss the race.
Walking back to the house after the race!!!
Since we burned a few calories my dad cooked a gigantic breakfast!!! No surprise that we followed it up with a huge lunch and dinner!!!
We are so blessed to be able to have this wonderful time together as a family. Thank You Mom and Dad for always making it a weekend no one will forget!
